In my last post, I wrote about the polyamory conference I attended and the great people I met, especially the other vendors. I was blown away by how kind, smart, funny, and interesting they were.
I’m not a crafty person, but I’m fascinated by the work and creativity that goes into making things, and I greatly admire people who can turn their creative vision into reality.
It was fun watching the conference attendees examining the products for sale. I especially enjoyed the reactions to the merchandise at the Cunning Linguist Co booth. People were like kids in a candy store as they found pins, patches, jewelry etc. that spoke to them. Fortunately, for everyone reading this, they have a great online store that you can experience.
I’ve written previously about the importance of wearing our values and doing so with joy. This site is your one-stop shopping destination for loudly, proudly, and colorfully wearing your values.
Environmentalism? Yep. Reproductive rights? Check. Trans support? Absolutely. LGBTQ friendly? Of course. Kink expression? You bet. There is something here for everyone.
There are so many reasons to support a business like this and to proclaim our values when we’re out and about. History, national monuments, tributes, and landmarks are being altered, dismantled, distorted, and erased daily. We need to speak up at every opportunity, and the wit and wisdom expressed in products like these are powerful tools. They are also a fun way to express yourself and connect with the people around you.
